Don’t be, at Bodyboard Escapes we’ll talk you through everything within our Whatapp group, and individually if needed to make it as easy as possible for you.

We’ll give you step by step information regarding visas for all nationalities and immunisations that are required for each destination, along with tips regarding local currency.

Then once you collect your bags and step out you’ll be greeted like this…….. with smiles and laughter ❤️

So, here we go, something different……..
We want to be as transparent as we can so we can improve individually and as a team to better each Escape to deliver the ultimate bodyboarding experience for our guests.

We believe certain ‘Review’ sites don’t match how we want to operate or we feel they’re just dated,
So we asked our guests if they’d kindly film a short review and we mocked them together into a quick reel……. Keeping the laughs flowing but the hardest part was trying to fit it into 3minutes, cheers insta 😅

This Escape may be over but we’ve just got going…….
What a trip, one for the books. Scored wave, sunshine, had a couple ropey days weather and surf wise but the crew still charged.

Jon and I would just like to thank everyone for the love and support and most of all the trust as this was our first Escape and it bypassed all@our expectations, super stoked ❤️

Day 5 ✅

BOOM BOOM BOOM ……….
Last day vibes, everyone charged, at the local beach in better conditions today, indulged in the best beach donuts of our lives and basked in the sunshine.

Lunch spot was on point at Anchors ⚓️

Then back to the villa to hang for our final night with @brahimiddouch and his team @surfvillamorocco for some insane food and banter over today’s footage.

Today was full of smiles, laughter and great vibes ☀️

Day 4 ✅

Sunnnnnnn was beaming ☀️
Tough conditions today in the ocean but everyone’s frothing, a few chunky ones were had.

Followed by lunch watching Anchor point and then a little exploration around the surf village of Tagazhout to get some gifts and indulge in some spoils.

Back to the villa for some cold water therapy in the pool 👀 followed by yet another exceptional meal and chill@out time watching Boog clips!
A superb day was had by all ❤️

Day 3 ✅

Heavyyyyyyyy day, the rain came and so did the wind and the swell……..tough conditions 🌊

Finished the afternoon off with the senses taking an absolute beating at the local Souk, WOWSERS……. Back to the villa to dry off and chill ready for dinner and the boys were frothing to see what’s in the Tagines 😋

The sun also showed its face before sunset……..

Ended the night frothing over @pierrelouiscostes ‘Tender’

Day 2 ✅

Whattttttt aaaaaaaaa crackerrrrrrrr 🇲🇦

Woke up, sun was beaming down and the forecast looked epic. So we jumped in the vans and headed north and scored ❤️

We even met a few locals 🐪

Went back to the Villa, got fed to the highest level and then were given some pointers from Brahim from todays footage aswell as the guests quizzing him about his bodyboarding journey………. What a day ❤️

Day 1 ✅

Collected the crew just after lunch, had a little feed and then headed to Anza to have a quick dip after an early start on travel day, no better way than to cleanse yourself by having a quick boog 🌊

The sun came out and the waves were fun! Perfect start ……. Back to the villa for sunset dinner and relaxation 🇲🇦

Tomorrow looks like a mad one 😅 stay tuned ………

Let’s hear a little about how Mark started out 👇🏽

C-Monsta was started by Mark from his home in the north of Scotland. After spending a decade prioritising surfing and travelling it looked like it was time to start settling down (a bit). After thinking long and hard, a return back to Scotland felt right - a return home. After having his first child he found out (like many people do) that certain sacrifices have to be made. Time was becoming more limited but the need to get out and surf never dwindled. So Mark started to think of ways that he could make the most of the waves that he could get.

With short, cold days and fickle, tide-dependent surf spots, speed is always of the utmost importance. Let’s face it, no one likes getting into a cold, damp wetsuit. It slows you down, kills the stoke and can easily ruin a great day on the water. The answer was simple then - come up with a solution that meant your wetsuit and gear was always ready for action, no matter what. No more leaving it in the bottom of the shower or bath, getting stinky and growing who knows what on it. No more struggling into a damp wetsuit. And so, the c-monsta was born….

How did Bodyboard Escapes start…….

Well, between Covid lockdowns both Jon and Aaron would meet up for beers and boog clips to feed the travel froth as we couldn’t travel during those times and the idea was sprung, it’s been tweeked from the original idea.
So, the original idea was to have a one off base in the Basque country of France offering a cycling, bodyboarding and yoga Retreat including all your meals and drink to create a small community. The plan was for Jon to deliver the cycling and food side, a family member the yoga side and Aaron the bodyboarding part.

It changed once we saw the popularity in the wavepool and Aaron joined the Bristol Bodyboarders Club which had created a frothing community of spongers…….. Aaron then orchestrated their Alaia Bay trip and proposed a Bodyboarder Retreat idea as he saw an idea and gap.
We then sat down and devised a business plan that would make our trips unique and affordable followed by a test run for Bristol Bodyboarders club to Scotland to see how we could operate and iron out any issues.
The Scotland trip was a huge success……..
So we launched Bodyboard Escapes ❤️

Our objective is to give you the ultimate bodyboarding experience but at a one off sensible price with no extra charges.
